Detailed Centre Court Review
One particular slot that is popular with fans of the sport of tennis, and players who like high variance free spins bonus games, is the aptly named Centre Court slot. This is a nine optional payline slot with plenty of staking options that start at just one penny.
I believe that it’s not worth being put off playing some of the video slots on which there are only a small number of pay lines. Furthermore, when you play at a Microgaming powered casino you will find a lot of them that come with plenty of features, unique reel symbols and potentially huge paying bonus games too.
However, you can choose to play up to 10 coins per line resulting in a max bet spin being 90 coins, on your chosen stake level. Both a max bet button and an autoplay option are available to make playing off each spin a breeze.
Bonus Games, Bonus Features and Special Reel Symbols
You will find a large Gold Trophy reel symbol in play during the base game and bonus game. On the base game that symbol is a standard single wild symbol that stands in for everything other than the scatter symbols.
During the free spins bonus game the wild symbols become stacked on the reels so it is possible to spin in a screen full of them and by doing so you could win up to 450,000 coins from that bonus game.
You will not be able to miss the bonus game awarding scatter symbols spinning in as they are oversized Tennis Ball symbols, three or more awards an initial set of 18 free spins. The free spins can be re-triggered in much the same way as they are triggered via the base game of this slot.
As the free spins play off if you do spin in one or more winning combinations a random multiplier will be revealed on the screen which can boost the value of that payout or payouts by x2, x3, x4 or x5.
Any winning combination you manage to spin in on an activated payline will then see the Centre Court slot offering you a gamble game type feature round. That bonus game is completely optional and will give you the chance of doubling or even quadrupling the base game spun in payouts value.
The way in which you can try and double its payout value is via a playing card guessing game on which you simply have to guess the colour of the next card dealt out on the screen correctly. For a much higher risk type of gamble game you may also opt to guess the suit of that card, a correct guess quadruples the value of your winning payout.
Our Opinion of the Centre Court Slot
There are as usual both good points and bad points about the Centre Court slot game, so read on to help you make up your own mind as to whether it will be worth playing online!
The gamble game is the standard Microgaming one and, as such, there is no real excitement value to be had out of taking that gamble game, and we much preferred playing this slot by not utilising it.
However, the way in which the Wild Multiplier can and will kick in during the bonus round does make that feature round exciting, and a potentially very high paying one too.
As Microgaming do tend to design all of their slot games with some decent RTP’s another redeeming feature about this slot is its payout percentage is set fairly high at 95.51%, that is not their highest paying slot of course but this slot does offer a higher than average RTP to players. That’s all for this Centre Court Slot review, and I hope that you have fun playing this ace slot. There had to be at least one tennis pun in there, come on!
